5 Minutes to MILF

Beyonce seems to have 43 hours in a day. Time to be sexy and workout. Time to practice a new, incredible routine for the Grammy's and still somehow manage to jet off to London for a press appearance and take the perfect selfie right before bed while reviewing possible cities for her new tour. Oh... and she is a mom the whole time with her baby in tow. Hi, Blue!

I wake up looking like the lost sister from Hocus Pocus. My breath is terrible and I take at least ten minutes to even remember what the hell is going on. With all this said, being in shape is basically the last on my list of “to-dos.”

Over the years, I've picked up small quick things I do every day that keep my body looking great.  Milfhood is a proud badge and anyone can do it.  Take five minutes to do any of the things below and trust me... you will see the difference.

instaMILF Tips:

Sweeping. Yes!! I swear by sweeping as a crazy workout.  I began to notice after a few minutes of sweeping my abs starting to burn as my house de-crumbed from the kiddos. Just sweep your whole kitchen a few extra times a day and do it in a brisk fashion then look out for a more trimmed waist line and yes maybe even a whisper of an ab.

Delete Soda. I replaced drinking any type of soda (even diet soda) with flavored, zero calorie sparkling water. No funky, fake sugar taste, no calories and you are actually drinking water! The fizz feels good and eliminates thousands of calories from your intake every month.

Crunches during commercial breaks. The kids are finally asleep. The hub or whoever is at a dinner meeting or even beside you. Doesn't matter. You are enjoying your fave show, finally. Don't waste time watching another Snickers commercial and finding yourself digging for candy. Do sit-ups. I lie in bed and when the commercials start rolling, I start my crunches. The breaks last about two to three minutes. Choose several types of crunches to make sure you work several areas and do two sets of 25. Do this during the hour of your favorite show. Make it a habit and without adding more time to your day you can rock a rock-hard midsection in no time.

Carry dem' babies. I often find myself walking around the mall with a stroller. Leave it behind from time to time, if possible, and carry your kid. Take breaks and let them walk. Then pick them back up. Carry your child as much as you can. This not only serves as a weight lifting session but doubles as close bonding time and makes them feel so special. I fly my boys up in the air, swing them in circles and lift them over and over again throughout the day. They feel loved and I'm working out. It's great for the arms and core, as well.

Speed Clean. So you have your cleaning routine down. Have you ever tried to cut this time in half? I have a home just over 4k square feet and I can sweep, mop, knock out bathrooms and make all the beds in my house in two hours. Why the rush? Caloric burn baby. Why use my whole day to complete these tasks? Put in headphones, get focused and knock it out. When I'm finished cleaning, I'm usually covered in sweat. Free up tons of time while getting a workout in. Do everything with a purpose. Don't waste a single movement. I lost 15 pounds just by letting my housekeeper go and making cleaning a game. 

Without having a personal assistant or an extra 7 hours a day, you can find time and tasks you already do to save money and burn calories. Get on your way to being even sexier than you already are. Try it out for just a month and you'll swear by these quick instaMILF tips!
